Every single day in the year, every single hour, every single minute & second.. alot of things happen before our very eyes & at times we find ourselves standing at the junction of a cross road deciding on which side to head towards to.. yesh everyone is entitled to make their choice at that point of time & noone has any say in tat other than the main lead him/herself.. making choices is not a fun thing afterall nor an easy task.. After a period of time, we might find ourselves sitting back & pondering if the decision made at that point of time was ideal & the most common question which follows is... What IF?

What IF i chose option B? What IF i did not do that at that point of time.. What IF.....

Life is just too short & its kinda of pointless to keep thinking back of all the What IFs.. lets all just move on & look forward to the future instead.. Whenever a door closes behind you.. another will be opened up ahead so why keep turning your head behind.. look ahead.. look at the rainbow ahead.. look for that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.. IF you want.. you WILL find it somehow someday.. tat pot of gold..

sit with their legs wide open in the MRT trains, its darn unsightly if u are a female coz we simply dun wanna see what is the colour of the day!
adding on to the above, if u are a male.. oh pls.. close up ur legs.. the seats are miserably small already so dun take up other people's space! & act as if your 'in-btw" is so blardy big that you cant close up ur legs!
scream & shout at their kids when you are outside in the malls--> dun make yourself look like a madwoman!
wear jeans & pants which are way too long & simply refuse to pay tat few bucks to alter it nicely & would rather trip & fall umpteen times due to stepping on ur own jeans & pants *duhz*
dun wear or check their bras properly that their straps are twisted & THEY DID NOT REALISED!! & mind u its darn obvious lor..
eat in the train.. oh yesh u are not gobbling down a burger BUT u are stil licking ur McFlurry & whats the diff??!!
lean against the arm barrier inside the MRT trains --> u need the government to stick signs on how to use it? its for holding not for leaning!! Goodness..

& yesh the list goes on & on.. nope im not having my PMS but just ranting on some of my views.. dare not continue any further if not i think my post wil be super duper LONG!! OK as of now.. excuse me!

My new maid came for a week plus, she is a good help but coz due to she is still single so she has not much experience with taking care of infant therefore i was afraid she cant cope in handling kai & ash & cooking therefore i resorted to looking for a nanny to place kai there so maid can concentrate on ash & cooking & housework & meanwhile kai can be well taken care of in the good hands of an experienced nanny nearby... the above plan seems ooohh.. so well & good.. BUT................................................. yesterday noon 1630, i sent kai over to the nanny for the first time....... my heart was so heavy.. so so heavy tat it can sink a titanic.. i stayed around til 1830 & when i reached home.. i realised.. I MISS MY BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tears started to roll down, my maid saw me crying & came over to apologise.. she said she felt guilty tat coz of her not being able to handle so we have to opt for this arrangement & she miss baby too :(

i skipped dinner coz i cant help not to think of wat my lil kai is doing over there, i sounded out to hubby.. he say lets go visit him later so bac to nanny's place @ 2030 *heh* upon arriving, saw my lil kai playing on the bed.. i really miss him!! hubby & nanny told me have to control myself & learn to let go.. my lurp oso keep telling me the same.. i stayed til 2315 & i left reluctantly....... i did not sleep last nite..... i told hubby.. i wan my baby back.. hubby shook his head.. so today im bringing my baby back!! YEAH!!! & for now.. all i have to do is to train my maid more & trust her more.. we wil order dinner thru tingkat service so maid do not need to cook so she can have more attention on the lil ones :)

call me silly, stupid, bo liao, wasting ppl's time, indecisive or watever u want.. but i got my baby back with me..... the rest i DUN CARE!!!

p/s: i really salute to those who can place their lil ones with nanny & bringing them back over the weekend only... i cannot do it.. i seriously cannot.. lesson learnt.. separation = agony *salute*

An outing to Pulau Ubin!! It was a super last minute decision coz we had no planned programmes during tat weekend so tot of heading there as we have not been there for ages.. & oso to let the lil ones have an experienced of sitting in those small sampan boats & getting close to Mother Nature.. NOPE.. we did not cycle though most of the ppl who visits there wil opt to cycle around coz of the lil ones so we opt to rent a van to drive ourselves around.. we picked up durians on the roadside from the durian trees which are found everywhere on the island.. had a durian feast, visited the temple there, had a good meal.. its indeed a nice getaway~~ hubby said.. we will be back soon again!!! *smile* sorry not much pics this time round as i was busy with insect repellent on one hand, eating durian with the other.. *grin*

My nephew, Randall celebrated his 5th birthday at downtown east chalet over the weekend.. we swam & we bbq & we took chance to venture the Explorerkid @ E!Hub & my lil gem enjoyed herself so much!! while we place them there for an hour with the caregiver, the whole family went to play bowling downstairs.. in short.. it was a FUN family day!! :)

In the midst of the celebration of the arrival of e lil fella in our family... hubby's grandma left us & headed to heaven today :(

She lived till an old age of 95 years old & left behind her sons & daughters & lots & lots of grandchildren & great-grandchildren... she will be dearly missed by all of us...

a short summary of my birth story....

9th June 08 * 1.30pm

went for weekly check up as usual, am 39 weeks 6 days to be exact, nothing special just that gynae mentioned that im 2cm dilated already!! *cool*

gynae decided to ask me to admit @ 7am the next day to induce didi out as he is afraid he mite be poo-ing inside & since Ash was delivered naturally.. gynae did not want to risk having didi poo-ing inside & end up i have to c-sect so i happily went home & await for D day!!

tat very nite, set alarm clock to wake up @ 4.30am to prepare to head down hospital ard 5am+ so as to be just nice for my 7am appt @ labour ward with gynae :)

10th June 08 * 2am+

felt some uncomfortable cramps, told hubby whom decided we better head down to hospital in advance since started to feel cramps but i refused as im afraid its jus false alarm therefore went back to slp..

10th June 08 * 2.45am

cramps came more frequently.. woke hubby up.. decided to change to head down to hospital..

10th June 08 * 3.49am

reached hospital, midwife checked 5cm dilated!! after rounds of discomfort.........

10th June 08 * 4.43am

lil Ashton Koh arrived!!! the whole saga was less than an hour.. midwife commented if i had stayed at home any longer, i wil end up delivering at home! *faint*

Woke up on Tues morning with real bad cramps & contractions.. told myself.. it could be Braxton Hicks & cannot be real contractions.. monitored till 9+am & could not stand it anymore, it was getting much & much intense hence went to see gynae, did CTG test and revealed YESH indeed intense contractions & gynae said.. NO NO CANNOT DELIVER NOW!!! *faint* he did some checks on me & managed to find out its not labour contractions but due to food posioning he supposed.....*PHEW* (I want a JUNE baby!!! LISTEN UP lil fella!!! *grin*)

Had 2 jabs & 4 medicines when I spent from morning 10am till 4pm+ in the clinic's observation ward & relented to be warded in the end coz after all the medication & jabs, gynae claimed I shld feel much better but Im not so he wanted me to be admitted to be on drip & to observe & do further tests to find out the cause of the pain..

Did not wanna alarm anyone after knowing its just due to food poisioning so warned hubby not to inform family members BUT I knew it.. he & his big mouth.. my family all came.. his family came.. aiyo.. as if I just delivered!! GOODNESS!! & they can all joke... 2 more months we will be here again for the real thing.. now is dry run!! *GASP*

conclusion: never trust a man.. his mouth is definitely BIGGER den a woman!!! *lol*

FINALLY discharged the very next day in the late afternoon.. now resting at home till next check up on mon with the gynae to review me further.. meanwhile.. its REST REST & MORE REST!!! :)

After 2 long years, its time to bid farewell to Mylene who has been taking real good care of my little gem, she is indeed a very nice lady and loves and cares for our whole family especially the little gem who is oso her precious.. she took care of Ash when she is only a 2 month old infant till the day she left.. she is a 2 year old toddler.. me and hubby thank her from our bottom of our heart for all the things she did for us and little gem and our family and was feeling real blessed to have her as part of our life and being here for us when we needed her most.. we gave her a little surprise by inviting all our immediate family to send her off (her flight was a midnight flight but no one complained.. :)) & she was indeed surprised and cried when she saw the whole family gang waiting for her at the departure hall.. till we meet again.. take real good care of urself & God bless u always Auntie Mylene :)

Just wanna share some updates on me lately, I am currently expecting a little mickey mouse and he will be joining our little Koh family when June 08 comes :) Therefore that is the excuse of why i have not been updating my blog lately, this pregnancy is a real horrid experience for me!! i have been like a merlion every single day from the beginning.. puking up to close to a dozen times per day without fail :( *thanks for all the encouragement given to me by my BBC clan mates, really do appreciate it alot..*

and.... YES.... we somehow or rather planned for #2 as my little gem & me are Oct babies therefore we hoped and wished we can have a June baby as hubby is oso a June baby :) Thank GOD for the blessings and like wat my lurp always says.. ASK & U WILL RECEIVE.. *wink.. rite lurp?*

As of now.. im into my 2nd trimester already and indeed my vomitting improved.. now is committed to like 3 to 4 times max per day *TOUCH WOOD* hopefully it wil disappear as time goes by.. everything else is fine and little mickey mouse is doing well inside mummy's tummy :) & till my next visit in one month's time.. stay tune for more updates *heh*

This year we decided to celebrate Ash's 2nd birthday with only close family members from both sides. We ordered buffet this round again as though its only kept between close direct families but both me and YP belongs to big families hence our total attendance tat day was close to 40 pax *phew*

Tried to ask Ash on her preference of her birthday cake this year and she insisted on wanting a Barney cake though I tried to persuade her in allowing me to order a Strawberry Shortcake birthday cake as it was the theme of this year's party... but i did not succeed afterall but no worries as long as the little one is happy which is the main purpose of the party :)

STOP using those sickening and boring and passe songs please................................. its fine when one kiddo down the street playing the song, but wait til another kiddo strolls down the same street holding another lantern proudly and playing the SAME song.. and more coming along.. and its called.............. IRRITATING!!!! ARGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

My little gem completed her Term 3 at Julia Gabriels :)

Had a small potluck party and I prepared some ham and cheese sandwiches for the party.. the little ones enjoyed themselves with face painting and songs and dances..

Got one week of school holiday break before we start on the Term 4 BUT coz we are heading to Bintan for some sun, sand and water the first week of the Term 4 so till then means I do not have to wait up so early on Saturday!!! YEAH!!!
